My Experience
Sean is 20 years old and is the chairman of the Medway Branch of the English Democrats. He has previously stood in the EU elections in 2009 for the English Democrats in the South East Region, where he was the ‘Medway candidate’. For the council elections Sean stands as a candidate in the Lordswood and Capstone ward in which he lived for 6 years between 2001 and 2007 before moving to the Luton and Wayfield ward.
Like most people, Sean had very little interest in national politics because he did not think any party really made a difference. “They all had these ‘great’ ideas, but when it comes to it they are all the same… There was very little variation until I found the English Democrats”.
Sean first got involved in local politics in the 2005 Medway elections when his grandmother contested the Lordswood and Capstone ward for the English Democrats.
Asked on his views on Medway Council he said; “The Councillors seem to do as they please, whether it’s erecting a giant Hollywood style MEDWAY sign in Medway Valley, or committing sleazy benefit fraud as recently exposed of one councillor! Another threw in a bit of curb crawling for good measure; they are just as bad as Parliament!”
Sean joined the English Democrats in 2006, as he saw them as the only non-racist English nationalist party with a chance of making an impact at both local and national level. Sean is prominent within the English Democrats for the formation of the Young English Democrats (YED), the youth section of the English Democrats Party…
Sean is very opposed to the EU and MASS immigration, and he claims; “We need a complete overhaul of the system… A points system such as those based in Australia and Canada should be imposed on our borders, legal immigration is what we want; illegal immigration is what is wrong – We want our country back from Europe!”.
