Ken grew up in Tottenham and has spent most of his life in and around London. Ken is married to Pamela. Both widowed, they met 5 years ago, found happiness and recently married. In his spare time he plays tennis and swims, as well as loving movies. Ken has had three books published, one of which appeared in the list of the top ten best selling non-fiction for over a couple of months. Ken has a great interest in other cultures, their arts, cooking and people and has been lucky enough to visit every continent and many countries.

Ken has spent a lifetime in business, in many roles including that of Chairman of a public company. This experience has given Ken a valuable insight into the problems people face in their everyday lives, as well as gaining a good understanding of how business works. He has been a School Governor in Carshalton and has served on the Board of two NHS Hospital Trusts. Ken has also worked on the Board of the British Refugees Housing Committee, and was a Council Member of the IMC Business School.

Ken's Experience

Ken stood as the candidate in Carshalton & Wallington at the last general Election where he reduced the Liberal Democrat majority to just over 1,000.

Ken has received countless letters of thanks from local residents for his help in solving problems involved with matters such as schooling, housing, disability, social security and tackling yobbish behaviour. He has been involved in helping Residents fight bad planning applications and many other high profile concerns of residents.

Campaigning in Carshalton and Wallington

Ken is working with local Conservatives for better public services in Carshalton & Wallington. He, and they, will continue to campaign for greater action to deal with yobbish behaviour, where local government and police need to do much more to contain and reduce the problem.

Local Conservatives will also continue to support residents in their fight to maintain the character of their area and to continue to improve the quality of their lives. Ken wants to see cleaner streets, well maintained trees and green spaces and an end to graffiti.
