My Priorities

1.Stop all privatization - and reverse it!. It's crazy to feed ever more publicly owned assets into "the Market" when we know economics based on free markets and private ownership will forever have 'crises' .This current one is going to inflict 'Austerity' on the British public not seen for generations. What happens if the next 'crisis' (they run out of money in 2016 for example) hits while we're still paying for their current one. A fascist state I suspect. Dangerous times ahead, I believe, unless we ditch worship of 'The Market' and private ownership.

2. New RAILWAY from Brighton. It leaves the Brighton-Lewes line east of Falmer at Fyvie's Junction (provisional name of course!). It heads north and crosses the Lewes-Wivelsfield line where there is a East-North loop connection from Lewes.  It proceeds a mile or so west of the original Lewes-Uckfield line to Eridge where it has a joint station with the Lavender Spa Heritage Railway. It then uses the existing track to London. It is a top quality high speed electrified railway with new stations at Crowborough (a station actually close to the town centre!) and Uckfield Parkway.

My Experience

Political folk singer and songwriter. Member of Old Labour and candidate for Old Labour many times - til the Blairites abolished Old Labour. Was the first person ever to tell Gordon Brown to his face at a public meeting that the New Labour project was a load of C**P!
