The Economy
The issue that is on everybody's mind is the economy. The major features of UKIP’s economic policy include:
· Save up to £120bn a year by leaving the EU. No British jobs or trade will be lost
· Take tax off the lowest earners by raising the tax threshold to £11,500
· A simple, fair 31% flat tax on all income above the tax threshold. This amount includes the tax that today is called employee NI contributions.
· Abolish the tax on jobs: phase out employer NI contributions over five years
· Axe Britain’s gigantic quango mountain and public sector non-jobs to reduce UK national debt
· Release businesses from 120,000 EU laws and regulations
· Replace VAT with a ‘Local Sales Tax’ to help councils and local businesses
My Experience
I offer 30 years experience of solving complex problems. Practical skills in time management, organisation, and the application of technology to increase efficiency in large organisations. Skills that are sadly lacking in most of our politicians.
