Dave Brinson has lived in Eastbourne for 26 years and was educated at local schools and colleges. He is a Performing Arts teacher at Eastbourne secondary school, and a local official of the National Union of Teachers.
Dave has been Chair of the Eastbourne Labour Party for 10 years, and has stood many times in local elections. He is a member of St Peter's Church in Hampden Park, and is treasurer of Bourne Out- a forum for the local LGBT community.
Dave's main political interests are education and employment rights, and he is particularly proud of the Labour government's introduction of the National Minimum Wage, paid holidays and flexible working rights for parents.
