Does your party support the expansion of Heathrow airport? Liberal Democrats - 17th Dec, 2008 The case for rejecting a third runway at Heathrow was first advocated by the Liberal Democrats, and has since become mainstream opinion. The climate change and local environmental impacts are overwhelming, and the Government must say no. It seems we have Brown, Mandelson and Hoon on one side, and everyone else on the other. The Government must pay attention to the massed ranks of the public and the Commons benches and abandon the third runway.  You voted against this Answer
