Labour’s guarantee to support every person looking for work for longer than six months includes: * Golden Hellos - cash for employers to recruit and train unemployed people. * Money and support for the unemployed to set up their own business. * Training to improve skills to get a job. * More chances to volunteer while looking for a job. While Labour is providing real help now, the Conservatives would do nothing to ease the burden of the downturn. During these tough times David Cameron plans to cut the budgets of the department tasked to support people into work as well as opposing the extra mortgage protection to help families stay in their homes.
